Born on October 31, 1946, freedom fighter and former Cultural Minister Asaduzzaman Noor began his journey as an actor with theatre. His memorable roles include Baaker Bhai from Kothao Keo Nei, Nandail’er Yunus from Maatir Pinjirar Majhe Bondi Hoiya and Chhoto Mirza from Ayomoy, among many others.
His performances in blockbuster hits like Aguner Poroshmoni and Shonkonil Karagar were acclaimed as well.
He has recently been elected as the president of Bangladesh Abriti Shomonnoy Porishod. Currently, he is busy with the theatrical production, Neel Joler Kabbo. The play, scripted by Panna Shahrear, will be presented by Nagorik Natya Sampradaya.
The artiste, who is currently in London, has conveyed a message to his fans and admirers. “I am lucky for all the love that I have received for my work.
